All York County libraries will be closed hrough Sunday, March 29. The closure began on March 15. The measure is in compliance with a directive from the Office of Commonwealth Libraries to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. All library programs previously scheduled during this time period are canceled. Current plans are for York County libraries to reopen on Monday, March 30.
All library materials currently checked out will be automatically renewed until Wednesday, April 15, and no fines will be assessed during the time of closure. Members are asked to hold onto borrowed materials until the libraries reopen. During the closure, community members are encouraged to access library e-books and other digital resources at http://www.yorklibraries.org.
