Yorkarvers Woodcarving Club has announced its upcoming activities.
Winter carving meetings are held on Mondays from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fourth United Methodist Church, 20 N. Lehman St. The meetings take place in the rear meeting hall. Another monthly meeting is held on the second Sunday of each month. This meeting includes carving information and a planned seasonal project.
The Yorkarvers group offers a variety of projects and aid from the group's experienced carvers. A broad library of reference literature and materials is available for anyone interested in carving.
Yorkarvers members, along with recognized artists, will display pieces of their work at the Lancaster Carving Show at Millersville University on Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17.
