York County Libraries and Positive Energy Arts are partnering to offer two weeks of free dance camp this summer to youths ages 7 to 14. The program will be led by professional dancers from the Philadelphia-based dance troupe Illstyle and Peace Productions, who will teach hip-hop steps and choreography.
The dance camp will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on weekdays from Monday, July 12, through Friday, July 23. Attendees will present a celebration dance at 6 p.m. on July 23. Dance camp will be held at the Upper School location of the York Academy Regional Charter School, 2 Hamilton Ave., York.
Interested students must register by Friday, July 9, at http://www.yorklibraries.org/events to participate.
