YWCA Lancaster, 110 N. Lime St., Lancaster, now offers its Racial Equity Institute monthly.
During the COVID-19 shutdown, YWCA Lancaster updated and reformatted its signature program, the Racial Equity Institute. The program now includes 12 hours of in-person, but socially distanced, training over three days, with approximately two hours of online participation at one's own pace, all during a five-day period.
The next training will take place from Monday, Sept. 21, through Friday Sept. 25. Live sessions will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 21; Tuesday, Sept. 22; and Sept. 25. Virtual online sessions will be held from 8 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, and Thursday, Sept. 24.
Additional upcoming trainings will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17; Sunday, Oct. 18; Tuesday, Oct. 20; Wednesday, Oct. 21; and Saturday, Oct. 24, as well as Monday, Nov. 16, to Friday, Nov. 20.
