The Lancaster AARP Chorus is seeking new members. The chorus was formed 39 years ago as a volunteer group of people who enjoy singing and visiting retirement centers and nursing homes to entertain the residents.
Alto, tenor, and bass singers are sought. Those who like to sing and/or who have sung in church choirs or with other groups are encouraged to join.
The chorus presents concerts in area retirement centers in May and December. It meets each Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Grace United Church of Christ, 1947 New Holland Pike (Route 23), Lancaster. Rehearsal for the May concert will start on Feb. 7.
