The Susquehanna Chorale has named Molly Masser to its staff as the administrator. In this position, Masser will provide support for the chorale's artistic and operational activities, its concerts and special performances, and the Educational Outreach Program choirs for children and youths.
Masser has extensive experience as a high school music teacher and a theater, choral, and band director. She recently retired from the Northern Lebanon School District. Throughout her career, Masser supervised all aspects of more than 30 drama and musical productions. She also conducted choral and band ensembles. In addition, Masser is a multi-instrumentalist, with emphasis on piano and French horn.
Masser earned undergraduate and master's degrees in music education from Lebanon Valley College.
Founded in 1981 by artistic director and conductor Linda L. Tedford, the Susquehanna Chorale is a nationally acclaimed adult choral ensemble of 38 auditioned singers. The chorale is funded in part by the Cultural Enrichment Fund, a united arts fund in the capital region, and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
