Jackson Howard To Perform At Cafe

Folk singer-songwriter Jackson Howard will play at Emmaus Road Cafe on Saturday, Dec. 7. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the music will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Howard's neo-folk weaves lyrics reminiscent of Paul Simon over fingerpicking in the style of Tommy Emmanuel. Jackson has toured the U.S., Canada, Iceland, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. His latest release, "Just for the Mystery," recorded at Dark Horse Studios, has been played on more than 100 radio stations in the U.S. and Europe and has been licensed by several television networks for use in their programming.

Having earned a doctorate and worked in research prior to his music career, Howard performs several songs that deal with change and humanity's eternal search for self. After juggling a job at Washington University in St. Louis with a growing performance schedule, Howard ultimately left academia in 2015 to focus his energies on his music full time.
