Open Stage, 25 N. Court St., Harrisburg, will present "Who's Holiday!" on select dates from Black Friday, Nov. 26, to Wednesday, Dec. 22, in its Studio Theater. This Off-Broadway parody is set in the land of Dr. Seuss and reunites audiences with the now middle-aged and bitter Cindy Lou Who minutes before her Christmas Eve party. The one-actor show stars Rachel Landon and is directed by Chris Gibson. "Who's Holiday!" is for mature audiences only.
Open Stage will also present its 22nd annual production of Charles Dickens' classic story "A Christmas Carol" on select dates from Saturday, Dec. 4, to Thursday, Dec. 23, on the Capital BlueCross Main Stage. The show follows Ebenezer Scrooge, the miserly owner of the local counting house. On Christmas Eve, he is taken on a journey with three ghostly spirits that strive to instill love, hope and understanding in humanity. Nicholas Hughes will return as Scrooge this season, and many artists from past seasons will also participate. "A Christmas Carol" was adapted by Stuart Landon and Rachel Landon and is directed by Stuart.
