Open Stage, 25 N. Court St., Harrisburg, will reopen its theater in late May with a series of concerts, beginning with a Judy Garland celebration called "Over the Rainbow: The Songs of Judy Garland," running Friday, May 28, through Friday, June 25. "Over the Rainbow" will culminate on June 25 with one outdoor performance at Italian Lake Park, located at Third and Division streets in Harrisburg.
"Over the Rainbow" will be followed by a July concert featuring the works of Carole King, along with shows featuring solo artists from the Harrisburg area. For the first time, Open Stage will produce a full summer season, including variety shows, talk shows, and concerts.
Tickets are available at http://www.openstagehbg.com. For all performances, capacity will be limited to adhere to CDC guidelines and local and state government regulations. Physical distancing, mask-wearing, and rigorous sanitation practices will be in place in order to keep audiences and artists safe.
