The Gretna Theatre Kids Series, set for Saturday mornings this summer, will feature five productions based on popular children's stories.
The hourlong shows will aim to deliver real-life lessons in a child-friendly environment. The productions are written especially for children in kindergarten through grade six and their grown-up friends.
The first show will be based on the the Brothers Grimm tale "The Brave Little Tailor." Presented by Enchantment Theatre Company, the performance will take place on June 15.
"The Rainbow Fish" will premiere on June 29. On July 20, Family Stages will bring "Aladdin" to the stage. "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" will take place on July 27. The series will close with "Pinocchio" on Aug. 3.
