The Belmont Theatre, 27 S. Belmont St., York, has slated its Movie Musical Week programs, where children ages 5 to 18 will sing and dance to a variety of movie songs. The children will present a free performance for family and friends on the final day of each camp.
The Belmont will offer a two-week "Frozen Jr." production camp on Monday to Friday, July 8 to 12, and Monday to Friday, July 15 to 19; Broadway Week from Monday to Friday, July 22 to 26, where students will sing and dance to Broadway tunes; and the Belmont Academy of Wizardry from Monday to Friday, July 29 to Aug. 2, where students will sing songs and produce scenes from wizard-themed movies and shows as well as make wands and potions.
