The Upstart Twilight Theatre (TUTT) will visit York County parks to present Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
TUTT is the touring branch of Upstart Arts. Performing arts in public spaces is its mission. The all-volunteer nonprofit theater collective is led by Michelle Denise Norton, who has a 22-year history of taking Shakespeare's comedies to local parks.
Unless otherwise noted, all performances will begin at 6:30 p.m. Performances will take place on Friday, July 19, at Gifford Pinchot State Park, 2200 Rosstown Road, Lewisberry; Saturday, July 20, at Jim Gross Park in downtown York; Sunday, July 21, at William Kain County Park, 274 Hess Farm Road, York, on the Lake Redman stage; Tuesday, July 23, John Rudy County Park, 400 Mundis Race Road, York; Thursday, July 25, Samuel S. Lewis State Park, 6000 Mount Pisgah Road, York; Friday, July 26, Cousler Park, 1060 Church Road, York; Saturday, July 27, in the band shell at Codorus State Park, located at Blooming Grove Road (Route 216), Hanover; and Sunday, July 28, at 3 p.m. St. John Episcopal Church, 140 N. Beaver St., York.
