Yoder Slates Performance

Pittsburgh native Brad Yoder will perform at Emmaus Road Cafe, 1886 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, on Saturday, Aug. 24. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the music will start at 7:30 p.m.

Yoder has been performing his music for more than 25 years, self-releasing seven recordings along the way. His eighth recording is slated to be released this year. Brad has opened for Tegan & Sara and Cowboy Junkies, and he has been a five-time Pittsburgh City Paper Best Acoustic/Solo Artist. His music has been used on "NUMB3RS" and NPR's "Car Talk." Yoder's other accomplishments include performing on the main stage at the Shelter Valley Folk Festival and winning the Just This Guy songwriting contest four times. He also plays the soprano saxophone and the glockenspiel, frequently backing up friends at open mics and on recordings.
